| THE GOOD--- | Our company is blessed with some of the best customers around! They are nice, friendly, and like knowing the employees that wait on them. | |||||||||||
| It's worth coming to work everyday just to see the customers that return day after day to receive the service and friendly faces they are accustomed to seeing. Most of the people that are co-workers are really fun to work with. The shift goes fast because there is plenty to do and a wide variety of tasks to learn. Unlike a "fast feeder", a convenience store job gives you quite a bit of responsibility. If you're really good there is plenty of room for advancement in our company. Almost every manager started as a cashier. Most of our Operations Staff have worked their way up the ladder in convenience stores. Our benefits are really good and we strive to always make them better. We have bonus programs for employment referral and education updates and reimbursements for higher education. We are a family owned company that acts like a family, taking care of it's family members and always encouraging both personal and professional growth. | ---THE BAD | ||||||||||||
| You're on your feet for almost the whole shift. You work a lot during your shift and a lot is expected of you.

| THE UGLY--- | The absolute worst part of the job is dealing with the occasional loud, rude, cranky, and obnoxious customer while presenting yourself as a professional and courteous employee. You have to smile, and be pleasant even when they are wrong and you really want to scream! That's the worst of the ugly! Cleaning rest rooms, (at least once every shift), wiping down the gas pumps, and picking up after everyone who leaves their trash where it shouldn't be also isn't a lot of fun. | |||||||||||
