Lassus 10 Years of Cash Promotion Official Rules
1. PROMOTION: From March 25, 2025 to May 12, 2025 (“Promotion Period”), players may visit participating Lassus Handy Dandy (“Sponsor”) locations and enter for a chance to win a $500 Lassus Gift Card. Prizes will be awarded randomly, and the odds of being selected as a winner depend upon the number of entries made during the Promotion Period. Self-service sales excluded.
2. ELIGIBILITY: Only open and offered to legal U.S. residents who reside in Indiana and who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and who are registered LASSUSGO Rewards members, or who register to become a LASSUSGO Rewards member with a valid email or phone number on file (“Entrant”). Employees of Lassus Bros. Oil, Inc., the State Lottery Commission of Indiana (“Commission”), and/or IGT Indiana, LLC, the integrated services provider of the Commission (“IGT”, and together with the Commission, “Hoosier Lottery”), and immediate family members and individuals residing in the same household as the above are not eligible to participate.
3. HOW TO PLAY: Customers who scan a LASSUSGO Rewards Card when purchasing a $5 10 Years of Cash Scratch-off will have a chance to enter the Promotion and win one (1) of six (6) Lassus Gift Cards. Self-Service vending purchases are excluded.
4. HOW TO PLAY WITHOUT PURCHASE: To enter by mail without a purchase, print your complete name, LASSUSGO Rewards ID number, complete mailing address (no P.O. boxes), city, state, zip code, date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy), valid daytime and evening phone numbers, address of your local Lassus Handy Dandy retail location, and email address on a 3” x 5” card and mail your entry with first-class postage to: Lassus 10 Years of Cash Promotion, 1800 Magnavox Way, ATTN: LASSUSGO Dept., Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Limit ten (10) entries per household per day. Each entry must be mailed in a separate envelope, and all entries must be received by Sponsor by 11:59 PM on May 12, 2025. Failure to comply with this or any other Official Rules will result in disqualification. No mechanically reproduced entries are permitted. Illegible or incomplete entries are void. Not responsible for lost, late, damaged, postage due, misdirected entries or entries not received by the entry deadline. The same odds apply to both mailed-in entries and in-store entries.
5. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: Six (6) Lassus Gift Cards. Maximum retail value for total of all prizes is $3,000. No more than the number of prizes set forth in these Official Rules will be awarded.
6. DRAWING: A random drawing from all eligible entries will take place on or around May 26, 2025. Winners will be notified by email and/or phone. Winners must provide valid identification when claiming any prize. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash, but Sponsor and the Hoosier Lottery reserve the right to substitute prize with prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize becomes unavailable.
7. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: The prizes set forth in these Official Rules will be given to the winning Entrants after being contacted by Sponsor, validation of rewards account registration information, confirmation of Entrant’s compliance with these Official Rules, and execution of an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability form. Potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the sweepstakes rules before any prize will be awarded. Taxes on any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Entries not legitimately obtained and/or used in accordance with these Official Rules are void. Use of an automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. All potential winning entries are subject to verification by Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Promotion.
Sponsor may require a confidential background check upon a potential winner to help ensure that the use of any such person in advertising or publicity for the Promotion will not bring Sponsor into public disrepute, contempt, scandal, or ridicule or reflect unfavorably on the Promotion or Sponsor, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and that the awarding of the prize to the potential winner will not violate applicable U.S. laws or regulations. In addition, Sponsor reserves the right to require the potential winner to submit the information necessary for the confidential background check and authorize the check through electronic means designated by Sponsor to expedite the process of verifying the potential winner as eligible to receive the prize. If a potential winner fails to submit the information for the background check and authorize the check electronically if instructed to do so by Sponsor, or Sponsor determines in its sole discretion that the awarding of the prize may violate applicable U.S. laws or regulations, Sponsor may disqualify the potential winner.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RESERVATION OF RIGHTS: Entrants hereby (a) release Sponsor, the Commission, and IGT and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies (“Released Parties”) from liability for any loss, harm, damages, costs, or expenses, including without limitation property damages, personal injury, and death arising out of participation in this Promotion or any Promotion-related activity, or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy, and merchandise delivery; and (b) indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the Released Parties from and against any and all liability or loss and against the claims or actions identified in the foregoing Section 8(a) or relating thereto.
The Released Parties assume no responsibility for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, wireless, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or via mobile device transmission or any combination thereof.
The Released Parties assume no responsibility for injury or damage to an Entrant’s or any other person’s computer/mobile device related to or resulting from downloading any materials in the Promotion, for any unavailability of telephone lines, connections, or cellular telephone service, or for any other technical malfunctions that may interfere with an Entrant’s attempt to enter the Promotion.
Any attempt to deliberately damage any service or website or to undermine the legitimate operations of the Promotion may be a violation of civil or criminal laws, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify and seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent of the law. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion in whole or in part for any reason without prior notice.
The Promotion and prizes are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event will the Released Parties be responsible or liable for damages or losses of any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize or access to or use of the Promotion or information relating to the foregoing.
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Federal and state withholding tax will NOT be deposited by Lassus on behalf of a winner unless required by the State of Indiana and IRS tax rules. Prize winner will be responsible for any tax liability related to claiming their prize. Relevant IRS forms will be provided to winners when required. Lassus advises its customers to consult with a tax professional when preparing taxes. Additional costs, taxes, including state and federal taxes, fees and any expenses associated with the acceptance of a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner, unless otherwise indicated.
Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitution, cash redemption, assignment, or transfer of any prize is permitted, but Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an offered prize is unavailable. Unclaimed prizes may be awarded to alternate Entrants.
Except where prohibited by law, any winner’s acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the prize winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and address (city and state) worldwide and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without further compensation. All potential winners are subject to verification, including without limitation verification of eligibility, compliance with these Official Rules, and completion of release forms.

If attempted notification is returned as undeliverable, if a potential winner is not verified as eligible or cleared via the background check, or if a potential winner is otherwise determined to be ineligible to receive a prize, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
The Promotion is void outside of Indiana and where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
This Promotion and these Official Rules will be governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Any court of competent jurisdiction sitting within the State of Indiana will be the exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any dispute arising out of or relating to this Promotion and these Official Rules. If the Promotion is challenged by any legal or regulatory authority, Sponsor reserves the right to discontinue or modify the Promotion, or to disqualify Contestants residing in the affected geographic areas. In such event, the Released Parties will not have any liability to Entrants who are disqualified due to such action.
10. OFFICIAL RULES OR WINNERS’ LIST: For a copy of the “Official Rules” or the names of winners, mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Lassus 10 Years of Cash Promotion, 1800 Magnavox Way, ATTN: LASSUSGO Dept., Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Requests must be received within thirty (30) days after winners are selected.
11. SPONSOR: The Promotion is presented by Lassus Bros. Oil, Inc., which, at its sole discretion, may delegate any of its duties and responsibilities under these Official Rules to its printers, advertising and promotion agencies, and other companies associated with the presentation of the Promotion.
The Lassus 10 Years of Cash Promotion is not a Hoosier Lottery game and participation does not affect or alter the rules, requirements, or odds of winning a Hoosier Lottery game. Neither the State Lottery Commission of Indiana nor IGT Indiana, LLC is responsible for conducting this Promotion.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.

FIRST SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The first Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on February 1, 2025, and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on August 16, 2025 (the “First Sweepstakes Period”).
SECOND SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The second Sweepstakes begins on August 18, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”), and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on August 30, 2025 (the “Second Sweepstakes Period”).
SPONSOR: Lassus Bros. Oil, Inc., 1800 Magnavox Way, Fort Wayne, IN 46804 (the “Sponsor”).
ELIGIBILITY: Both the First and Second Sweepstakes Periods (collectively, the “Sweepstakes”) are open only to legal residents of the states of Indiana and Ohio who legally reside in one of the counties listed in the chart below, who are 18 years of age or of the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is older, with a valid driver’s license at time of entry, and who register to become a LASSUSGO Rewards member with a valid email or phone number on file (collectively, an “Entrant”). If you are not a LASSUSGO Rewards member, you may become one for free on the LASSUSGO app. All others are ineligible to enter and will be disqualified.

To become an Entrant, you must sign up as a LASSUSGO Rewards member. To register as a LASSUSGO Rewards member, a valid phone number must be entered. Once the phone number is confirmed, new members will be prompted to set-up their LASSUSGO Rewards account. To obtain a Rewards number that will be used to track purchases and points, new members must supply their first and last name, a valid email, zip code, gender, birthday, create a password, and agree to the LASSUSGO mobile application Terms of Service.
Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor and Whitley County Chevrolet dba City Chevrolet, or any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment, and marketing agencies, website providers, webmasters, prize suppliers (collectively the “Sweepstakes Entities”), and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, children, siblings, and their spouses, regardless of where they live), and those living in the same household (whether related or not) are not eligible to enter or win.
Minor League Baseball, its member professional baseball clubs, and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and employees (collectively, the “Minor League Baseball Entities”) will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or the award of the prize. The Minor League Baseball Entities have not offered, administered, or sponsored this Sweepstakes in any way. Void where prohibited by law. All applicable federal, state and local laws apply.
FIRST SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD
HOW TO ENTER: During the First Sweepstakes Period, Entrants may enter in one (1) of three (3) ways (each an “Entry”). First, Entrants must go to https://www.lassus.com/sweepstakes/ (the “Sweepstakes Website”) to sign up for the Sweepstakes, or through the mobile application.
- Gas Entry: At the gas pump, Entrants will receive up to one (1) entry per week by filling up on gas. Entries will be received by an Entrant’s pin number or phone number.
- In-Store Entry: Entrants may receive an entry by purchasing designated items during the Entry Period through 11:59 p.m. ET on 8/16/25 in-store at one of the participating Lassus locations, which will be received and tracked through Entrant’s Rewards membership.
NO PURCHASE METHOD OF ENTRY: To enter without a purchase, scan a QR code, where available, with your web-enabled mobile device to be directed to the Sweepstakes Website. Follow the on-screen instructions on the Sweepstakes Website to complete and submit the registration form to earn one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. The online form will prompt you to include your full name, LASSUSGO Rewards ID number, complete mailing address (no P.O. boxes), city, state, zip code, date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy), valid daytime and evening phone numbers, address of your local Lassus retail location, and email address. All online entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM ET on August 16, 2025. Failure to comply with this or any other Official Rules will result in disqualification. No mechanically reproduced entries are permitted. Illegible or incomplete entries are void. Not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected entries or entries not received by the entry deadline.
ENTRY LIMITS: There is a limit of six (6) entries per Entrant, per week, during the First Sweepstakes Period, regardless of Entry method (total of one-hundred sixty-eight (168) possible entries). Method of Entry does not affect the Entrant’s odds to win a prize. Each week begins at 12:00 AM ET and ends by 11:59:59 PM ET.

Each Prize Package worth $135 ARV; Total ARV of all First Round Sweepstakes Prizes: $1620 USD.
WINNER SELECTION: A random drawing from all eligible First Sweepstakes Period Entries submitted during the Entry Period will take place on or around August 18, 2025, up to twelve (12) possible winners. Winners will be announced on Sponsor’s social media platforms and will be notified by email and/or phone. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of Entries received divided by the number of prizes available. Winners must provide valid identification when claiming any prize. The prize will be mailed to a Winners home address by Sponsor’s preferred shipping method, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. If a prize is refused, a prize notification is returned or deemed undeliverable, or the potential winner is disqualified, an alternate winner may be selected via a random drawing from among non-winning Entries, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. In such event, an alternate potential prize winner will be notified as described above; provided, however, Sponsor may alter the above timing to meet its Sweepstakes schedule and due to such schedule, Sponsor may be unable to award the applicable prize in this Sweepstakes.
In the event of a dispute over the identity of the selected Winner, the Winner will be deemed to be the Authorized Account Holder of the email address used in connection with the LASSUSGO Account. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet service provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to deliver the notification to selected Winners. If a selected Winner cannot be contacted within 2 days of the drawing, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize within two (2) days of initial contact, or fails to timely return the completed and executed declaration and releases as required, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate Entrant who will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible Entries. If selected Winner has moved to a different address, it is the sole responsibility of the selected Winner to notify the Sponsor or designated agent of the selected Winner’s new address. Sponsor is not responsible for any undeliverable prize deliveries due to change of address.
PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Limit one (1) prize per person in the First Period Sweepstakes. All prizes will be awarded, provided more than enough Entries have been received. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prize. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize in whole or in part with another prize of comparable or greater value (including cash) if the intended prize is not available for any reason, or if distribution of the intended prize to winner is not possible for any reason, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. Prizes may not be transferred or assigned. A prize must be accepted as awarded. A prize is awarded “AS IS” with no warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, made by Sponsor or for which Sponsor shall be liable, including, without limitation, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Attendance at Fort Wayne TinCaps (“TinCaps”) baseball game at Parkview Field (the “Venue”) is subject to all game and Venue rules and regulations established by the TinCaps (the “Ticket and Venue Rules”), including any safety protocols applicable to such activities, as determined by the TinCaps in its sole discretion. Exact seat and/or pass locations to be determined solely by the TinCaps. In the event of a violation of the Ticket and Venue Rules, the TinCaps and/or the Sponsor shall have the right to eject the violators from the Venue for improper conduct and/or violation of federal, state, or local laws. If a Winner or Winner’s guest are removed from the Venue, they shall not have any rights to participate in the Second Sweepstakes drawing. Unused tickets and/or passes cannot be refunded, exchanged, or applied toward tickets and/or passes for any subsequent game. If Prize Winner does not wish to attend the TinCaps baseball game, they will forfeit their entry in the Second Sweepstakes drawing; subject to proxy, as discussed below.
SECOND SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD
HOW TO ENTER: During the Second Sweepstakes Period, all First Round Sweepstakes Winners have an optional automatic entry into the Second Sweepstakes, which can be redeemed once the TinCaps baseball ticket prize awarded in the First Sweepstakes Period is scanned for physical entry into the game on August 30, 2025. Entry into the Second Sweepstakes is limited to the twelve (12) First Round Sweepstakes Winners with the relevant baseball tickets who decide they want to attend the game. No payment is required to enter game.
WINNER SELECTION: First Round Sweepstakes Winners must be present, in person at the TinCaps Baseball Game to be eligible to participate in the drawing for the Grand Prize. A random drawing for the Grand Prize from all eligible First Sweepstakes Period Prize Winners who physically scan their ticket to the TinCaps baseball game and are physically present on the Venue baseball field for the drawing, which will take place on August 30, 2025, on or around 9:30 PM ET. First Round Sweepstakes Winner’s may, if communicated to Sponsor twenty-four (24) hours prior to the start of the game, send a proxy to attend the TinCaps baseball game and appear on-field if they are unable to attend, at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
If a prize is refused, or the potential winner is disqualified, an alternate Grand Prize winner may be selected via a random drawing from among remaining eligible Entries, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. In such event, an alternate potential Grand Prize winner will be notified as described above. If the TinCaps baseball game is cancelled or rained out, Sponsor reserves the right to conduct the drawing at an alternate location on August 30, 2025, in close proximity to the Venue.

The maximum Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is $62,495.00. Sales tax, destination charges, additional equipment, licensing, registration, insurance, title and all-other expense on the receipt and use of the Grand Prize is the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. The Grand Prize Winner is not eligible for any cash rebate programs. Model, color, package, factory options, and other prize specifics are subject to Vehicle availability. The maximum value of the prize set forth above represents the Sponsor’s good faith determination of the maximum ARV thereof, and the actual fair market value, as ultimately determined the Sponsor, cannot be challenged or appealed; however, if due to inventory availability a Chevrolet model is available with an MSRP of less than $62,495.00, the Winner will not receive the difference in prize value.
GRAND PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Winner must have proof of insurance and a valid U.S. driver’s license from their state or place of residence in the U.S. to take delivery of vehicle. Failure to show may result in prize forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner. Grand Prize Winner will be provided instructions to obtain his/her Prize vehicle at Whitley County Chevrolet dba City Chevrolet by Sponsor. Vehicle delivery may take up to 30-60 days. Grand Prize Winner must take delivery of vehicle within thirty (30) days of notification that dealership has received vehicle. If Grand Prize is unclaimed within a reasonable time after notification from Sponsor, as determined by Sponsor in their sole discretion, it will be forfeited, and, time permitting, an alternate Grand Prize Winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries at Sponsor’s sole discretion. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize in whole or in part with another prize of comparable or greater value (including cash) if the intended prize is not available for any reason, or if distribution of the intended prize to Grand Prize Winner is not possible for any reason, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor does not make, nor in any manner is responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the vehicle including but not limited to its quality, fitness for purpose or mechanical condition. Depiction of Vehicle in any Sponsor advertising or promotional materials may not reflect the actual Vehicle delivered. Sponsor shall have no liability in conjunction with such differences between depicted Vehicle and actual Vehicle.
All taxes and other expenses, costs, or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of Grand Prize (including cost of title, licensing, insurance, registration fees, applicable sales tax and travel and transportation costs associated with collecting the vehicle) are the sole responsibility of Winner. Winner will be responsible for all applicable taxes (not limited to federal, state, local and/or income) and will be required to provide their Social Security number or tax ID for tax reporting purposes as Sponsor will file an IRS Form 1099 with the Internal Revenue Service for the fair market value of a prize awarded and accepted. Prize cannot be transferred or assigned to a third party by Grand Prize Winner or redeemed for cash and is valid only for the items detailed above, with no substitution of Prize by Winner. Vehicle cannot be assigned or transferred to a third party. Vehicle delivery is conditional upon Grand Prize Winner’s execution and return of any and all required paperwork.
FIRST AND SECOND PERIOD SWEEPSTAKES PROVISIONS
ADDITIONAL PRIZE/GRAND PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Prizes awarded are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Except where prohibited by law, winners may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, confidentiality statement and, where legal, a publicity release (collectively, the “Affidavit”), and return the same, properly executed, within 72 hours of issuance of notification. If a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable; or if a potential winner cannot be contacted after a reasonable number of attempts, is ineligible according to these Official Rules, fails to provide the required information and/or return the required documents within the specified time period, decides to decline the prize for any reason whatsoever, or otherwise fails to fully comply with these Official Rules, potential winner will forfeit the prize and the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Upon disqualification, no compensation will be given. Prize will be awarded in the name of the winner. Decisions of the Sponsor are final in all respects of the Sweepstakes. The prize winners will be responsible for all other fees and expenses related to accepting and/or using the prizes not listed in these Official Rules. The prize winner will be responsible for all taxes (including but not limited to federal, state, local and/or income) on the prize. Winner will be issued an IRS 1099-MISC tax form for the prize retail value, if applicable.
ENTRANT DATA AND PRIVACY: Entrants may provide personal information to Sponsor and its designees when they enter and participate in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor and its designees collect this information and use it to (a) administer this Sweepstakes and (b) for market research and for other marketing purposes. Sponsor and its designees may share this information with third parties who need access to this information to perform services on Sponsor’s behalf.
PUBLICITY RELEASE: Except where prohibited by law, in consideration for being awarded a prize, participation in Sweepstakes constitutes a Winner’s grant to Sponsor and their partners and designees, the irrevocable and perpetual nonexclusive right to use, publicly display, print, publish, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, and provide access to Winner’s entry submission, name, address (city and state/province/territory), likeness, photograph, picture, portrait, voice, opinions, biographical information and/or any statements made by Entrant regarding the Sweepstakes or the prize(s) for advertising and promotional purposes without limitation, in any media, worldwide, without notice or additional compensation or consent, except where prohibited by law.
If a Prize Winner chooses to submit or post any media content (including to but not limited to photographs, videos, recordings) in connection with this Sweepstakes (“Prize Winner’s Social Media Content”), that Prize Winner grants to Sponsor and their partners and designees, a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, copy, distribute, and display a Prize Winner’s Social Media Content and any part thereof, in any media, and the right to use, copy, modify, edit, and create derivative works therefrom, and agrees to execute documents confirming such right and license at Sponsor’s reasonable request.
Upon request, a Prize Winner may be required to execute a release of liability, publicity release, and/or an affidavit affirming his or her eligibility to enter and win and that he/she agrees to all terms and conditions of the Sweepstakes, and other documentation reasonably requested by a Sponsor (collectively, the “Prize Documentation”); failure to execute such Prize Documentation if requested will result in ineligibility for any prize and another Prize Winner will be selected.
GENERAL CONDITIONS / RELEASE: By entering or participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding, and Entrants waive the right or claim any ambiguity or error in these Official Rules or in the Sweepstakes itself. By entering or participating, Entrant agrees to (a) release Sweepstakes Entities, their respective directors, officers, agents, and employees from all liability for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind, in whole or in part, caused by (i) Entrant’s participation, including the unauthorized or illegal access to personally identifiable or sensitive information, or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the prize; (ii) any Sweepstakes Entity’s sponsorship or administration of the Sweepstakes; and (iii) Entrant’s and/or any third party’s use, sale, or disposal of the prize; (b) acknowledge that said parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize. Neither Sweepstakes Entities nor any service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of Entry information, printing, typographical, electronic, human or other errors which may occur in the offer or administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of Entries, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data or voice transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or website or to complete or receive a telephone call or facsimile transaction, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost or misdirected mail, or any injury or damage to Entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes. Winners must meet all local laws and regulations. Prize winners assume all liability for any injury, death, or damage caused, or allegedly caused, in whole or in part, by participating in this Sweepstakes or receipt, use, or redemption of a prize.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE ANY WEBSITE, TAMPER WITH THE ENTRY PROCESS, OR OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO COOPERATE IN THE PROSECUTION OF ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL(S) AND TO PURSUE ALL REMEDIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of being executed as planned, or infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, action of Entrants, technical failures or any other causes which, in the opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any suspect Entry or Entrant and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes. If the Sponsor reconvenes the Sweepstakes after a suspension, determining the prize winners will be made, from among all eligible, non-suspect Entries received as of the date of the suspension, as Sponsor determines in its sole discretion. Entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification.
DISPUTES: To the extent permitted by applicable law, Entrant agrees that (a) all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court in Indiana; (b) all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant waives all rights to, claim punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and any other damages, other than out-of-pocket expenses, and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, Entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the Indiana, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of Indiana law or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Indiana law.
WINNERS LIST: To obtain a list of winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope, with sufficient postage, to Lassus Bros. Oil, Inc., 1800 Magnavox Way, Fort Wayne, IN 46804, ATTN: TRUCK GIVEAWAY SWEEPSTAKES WINNER’S LIST REQUEST. Requests must be received no later than 60 days after each Sweepstakes Period concludes.
